Makes me all nostalgic! :)Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03115002505324651653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10709507.post-46160585856672945052009-08-21T20:11:06.997-04:002009-08-21T20:11:06.997-04:00Hey R- Thanks for dropping by. Strange, that.

Deborah- My uncle was actually raking hay as we pulled out. We waved at him on his tractor as we went down the road. His son is farming the place with him, so, on it goes. The place has been rather depopulated of people but the cows, at least, remain.

Proj - I reread this post and realized I mentioned kittens, ice cream and ponies inside of two paragraphs. Gad. What about rainbows and lollipops? The aunts managed very well in the mating dep't - no spells, but being farmer's daughters with looks and trades helped.

Mme - Kids had 2 Kraft M&C meals inside 24 hours - also, oreos, Little Debbie Swiss Rolls, birthday cake, ice cream and "gold fish." (the cracker kind, although my aunt noted that you are supposed to eat a lot of fish, so there you are). Iceland sounded much healthier.

Home again and time for a new post (and some fresh vegetables). I hope this weekend. I have no money after driving all over NY so time to stay home and write. Thanks all.Kim Velkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06729808121762572706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10709507.post-23702746770570104902009-08-19T17:25:27.602-04:002009-08-19T17:25:27.602-04:00Sounds positively wonderful.
